About the Award

The Spiros and Elizabeth Koulouris Award (SEKA) is an annual scholarship that supports Orange Coast Community College (OCC) students who demonstrate a passion for learning and who have career goals that involve protecting the environment.

The award is funded by family and friends in honor of Spiros Koulouris, MD (1937-2021) who enjoyed many courses at OCC after retiring from a 38-year-long career as a neurological surgeon.
