About 2023 Recipient, Yvonne Hlaing
In 2022 Yu Yu (Yvonne) Hlaing began her first-year at Orange Coast College. She’s an international student from Myanmar interested in language, technology, and the environment. She plans to transfer to UC Berkley to continue her studies in Computer Science. Like Spiros, she is multilingual and a highly independent thinker.
